Flash lights that are not made in China.

Hello

I would like to know some flashlight brands that are made in Japan, USA etc.

I only know of Maglite which is made in USA.

There are threads with comprehensive lists, but the most common on cpf include surefire, malkoff, Torchlab, peak, and HDS.

Customs US makers include McGizmo and Mac.

Someone please enlighten me. I believe I have read this before. Eagletac is a US brand but made in China just like 4Sevens am I right?

Some are made in USA some in China. There are very few large flashlight companies that don't make at least part there inventory in China. Ask this question again in 10 years andmthere will be even less.

Have you something about China? You will be very very surprised what is actually made in China these days.Even if you found a flashlight for instance made in the US&A,the components may well come from China.

And I bet you love a No33 with fried rice.

The list dwindles each year...
MAGLite bulbs are made in Mexico
SureFire has components made in Malaysia

It is a global economy - bit's n pieces are made and assembled from bit's n pieces from ALL over the world.

I don't believe any company can truthfully say that every single component in their product is made and or assembled in any particular country anymore.

I got nothing against China.
I just like products that are made in Japan,USA etc, they are well made.

I got a Deal Extreme torch and I love it.

I was thinking about buying a Maglite XL 200 and was wondering what other companies are made in the USA, Japan etc.
I probably buy the Maglite XL 200 as all the other brands that have been mention are way out of my budget!
