I've read complaints about the lack of detents on the variable controlled sunwayman lights. For those who have both versions, which light to you prefer, and why? I'm looking to get one and find the M versions are cheaper :).

Comments?

V10's! I own one and those issues with the lack of detents have already been addressed. There's good ramping over the entire range of the control ring's rotation. Plus of course the V-series are SWM's top of the line models. ;)

Is the "ONLY" difference between the 'M' and 'V' models the variable light control ?

(My OCD would not let me stop adjusting until the light output is just right.)

Yes, the M model has three and one strobe. V has variable but no strobe.

The new V10A has an XML emitter, not sure if the M10A's upgraded to XML too.

Well, here is a "deal too good to be true."
Warning: shipping is slow.
s.l.o.w.
s . . . l . . . o . . . w . . .

DinoDirect has the M10R XPG for $52.
Use a '$10 off $50 order' coupon code.
Your birthday is 2 days from now ($2 points).
There are 3 surveys available right now ($3).
Free slow shipping.

$37 shipped.

Let us know how it worked out in a month or two.

That's crazy you read my mind like that, right down to the birthday and the surveys. I really think somebody punked them on that last survey, with the whole "vigorous puber" thing and all. HAhAHAHAHAH

The only thing you forgot was the $2 credit from my previous slow order ;)

$35 shipped and 14 days if in stock :nana:
