Peak battery doubt...

Hi, i've a Peak Caribbean SSC P4 and a Logan QTC.
By your experience can i use rcr123 3.7V in both flashlights or :poof: ?

Absolutely no probs in the QTC Logan - in fact you won't reach full output by design unless you use an RCR123A. The Carribean I don't know. I have had several CR123A sized Peaks in my life - I can't recall whether I ever had one of the Carribeans.

But of all the CR123A sizes, they all accepted RCR123A's without damage and for optimum output.

If in doubt ring Peak or see who else chimes in here.

I think that a general rule for most of the Peaks is that if the emitter is a power LED, it can usually handle single Li-Ion voltage. The older single/multi-5mm-LED versions, however, may be excessively over-driven on the higher voltage, and thus at risk of color change and/or premature emitter failure.
