Best easily obtainable sandwich for an M^3?

What would be the best (i.e. brightest, while still maintaining good run time) sandwich drop-in for a Mini-mini-Mag? Reading through the other threads, looks like it would be the MM+ with an R2H luxeon. But, these seem very scarce, so is there any alternative that would offer a similar output on a AA alkaline? Seems like the MadMax+ with Q3L wouldn't provide anywhere near the same output as the R2H.

I think the MadMax+ Q3 would be fine. I have one MM+ Q3, and Two MM+ R2H.

The R2Hs are brighter and whiter, of course, but the Q3 would be a fine, pocketable light.

And, you could always build the sandwich yourself. Or buy a standard MadMax+, and put an R2L or R2K from the sandwich Shoppe on it.
