Re: WTB E Aleph light engine xm-l or xp-g

McGizmo is still making Aleph L.Es for his Makai, Haiku and Mules. These also work in other Aleph-style lights.

I am using a McGizmo 6V XM-L Makai L.E (for 2 or more cells) with a Makai reflector in a TB 38mm head with the same proportions as the Aleph-3. Don (McGizmo) made a thin Delrin spacer to put between the L.E and reflector so as to avoid the risk of any shorting from contact of the reflector on the solder points of the L.E.

I am also using a McGizmo 6V Haiku XP-G L.E in my TB "Aleph-1 clone" head. The existing reflector works fine. I made myself a spacer using a thin plastic sheet.

Datiled made Aleph L.Es with XM-Ls and XPGs until recently but I believe he has retired from modding.
