Interesting. Why do the lights look whitish from off-axis but deeply saturated when viewed head on? Are these white LEDs with colored filters in front of them?

Different cameras? I'd say that particular "faded" shot came from a bad "take," but I'm only guessing. Tremendous display either way - I'd be drooling on myself if I were there.

Along those lines: The Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours in Trichur, India, which is coated in lights on the November 25th of every year, a different design every year; top is 2007, bottom is 2011:

Dear CandelPowerForums,

Can you recommend a boost driver for me to use on a small weekend project, consisting of 55,000 leds--to be wired in a single big series, just to save on cost of using multiple drivers.
