(neutral) XP-E vs XP-C or XP-G in quad P60

So Im saving up to have VanisleDSM build me a copper slug quad module
and Im not sure if the normal XP-G optics will work with the XP-C or with
the XP-E etc.

assuming they will - I already have one of his quad XP-G modules and love it.
however as I use that light for a flood on my handle bars Id like one with a bit
more throw for my helmet light
(at the expense of a smaller hotspot and some overall lumens)

Im wondering what the best choice of these emitters would be.
since its going to be direct to copper I think the XP-Cs would be able to
handle 1.4a each (5.6a total)
Im also intrigued by the lower VF of the XT-E as even in my p60 headlamp host
running 4x 18650 in parallel it can be hard to push 5.6a and still have enough overhead
voltage for the 7315s to make full current.

anyone know how the XP-E and C behave in regular carlco and Kathod quad optics?

thanks doods!

I thought those carclo quad optics were originally designed for xp-e leds, and it was just that they also worked with xp-g and since you can get more overall output from xp-g that's the way things went. In any case, you should be significantly more throw with triple or quad xp-e optics since the beam would be tighter although overall output (lumens) will be less. That's my understanding. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I currently have a VanIsle Quad with XP-G and the tighter Khatod optics - not bad but would like more throw. VandIsle is current building for me a multi level Septa with Khatod optics (only one he currently offers for the Septa) and XP-E R4 5350K. Can report back the throw when I receive it. I think the Khatod optics specs are 10 degrees with the XP-E.
