What's in it now? I haven't been impressed with the R2H's I've seen but the R2K's are real stand outs. If you want really white, the Q3J's are really hard to beat and almost as bright as the R2K. This is just what I've seen of course, YMMV.

Yes, I believe so. Plus adding a Fraen Low Profile as I did to a similar Arc LS HERE may provide you with improvement that could be quite dramatic. It would go from a softer, flood-type beam to a sharper, much longer-throwing spot output.

I put a Q3J in my greykit and it's much brighter and whiter than my LSL Hybrid. I'm going to swap the one in my hybrid too.
