That's all about damascus...

Showing the different layers of carbon steel, probably etched with acid to darken the plain folds of steel.
But I could be wrong..

For a light of such beauty I realise that the emitter choice might well be regarded as being of secondary importance.

Nevertheless, the description "Cree neutral white led" is not particularly explanatory since Cree have made so many different types of emitters.
So which one of XP-E, XC-E, XR-E, XT-E, MC-E, XPG or XM-L is it? :tinfoil:

The LED is a Cree XP-G.
