If the temps are not to high, when doing a run time with a light do you all just let it run to it"s conclusion, or do you let it rest (change out put) for a min or so every hour of so? I read (forget whrere) that even if temps are fine one should change modes every so often for a few mins. So, if the temps are good can you just let it run continuously without harming the emiter? thanks.

As long as the light doesn't get too hot to handle, you can leave it on nonstop. Done this several times on a Quark Mini AA during power outages. But be aware that running an alkaline until the light is completely out is the easiest way to get the cell to leak.

thats totally ok.

if You have it in Your hand, or on the head, as long as You can still grab the light (= under ~60 deg. C), it makes no problem at all.
