I saw the Brinkmann too - what kind of LED does it use? It looked kinda big and thick, so i skipped it.

I believe it is a 5mm not a nichia i dont think, but has a slight purplish hue but it is bright due to the magnafied lense. it is kinda big for a 2 AA light, but i liked it even more ater i got home and opened it up, actually i opened it up in my truck in the parking lot,i could not wait till i got home.

the rebel 2AA is brighter tho.. and it's only a few bucks more..
the rebel 2AA is actually one of my favorite lights.. it's just kinda weakly built..
