If it's gonna be a user, I'd recommend the alu version anyway...Threads are much smoother, and Ti is WAY over priced IMO.

All of my EDC lights are Ti. That's the great thing about it, it wears like steel but weighs half as much.
Ti holds its value a lot better too. That doesn't make it more affordable, of course, but you'll never break it and almost nothing you can do to it will significantly diminish its resale price. In some cases, if you actually manage to severely gouge it, the fact that it survived whatever catastrophe it went through will actually become a selling point.
