Luxeon Drop-in for magcharger???

What Luxeon drop-in will work for a magcharger? I was talking to a friend who has one and he has been going through bulbs lately. He was wondering if there was an LED for it. He wasn't sure what voltage was.
I know an EverLED will work is there anything else?

EverLED would not work I'm afraid. Magcharger uses (if I didn't remmeber wrongly) T-1 or T-1 1/2 size bi-pin bulbs. EverLED is in a PR base bulb. So it's not just merely a drop in.

Perhaps for a fee, our Mod Gurus here could be coaxed into coming up with something? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I believe the Magcharger use bi-pin bulbs with a G-4 connector.

Oh, I thought MadChargers being the size they are used a PR base like the C + D Mags. OK any other thoughts would be welcome.

I think you need to find out the voltage and battery current rating of the MagCharger to get a starting point as to what might work. Even then it might be an irreversibly permanent mod and not a drop-in...gives new meaning to the term, "Forever LED"...

6 volt, stock battery is 2200 mAh.

The stock batts will supply tons of current; over 3A to a W/A 01160 bulb.
