Hi there
Is the thread between the bezel and emitter user serviceable?
I can barely twist it but it seems it has lotta thread lock or it wasnt suppose to be twisted
Thanks

If you're talking about the bezel that holds the lens down in place, then yes, it's removable (reflector drops right out w/a soft tap - check my review for pic). If you mean something else, I'll have to check later.

Nope not the stainless steel bezel ring
The "thread" between heatsink fins, right above the selection button
I remember that in your review you can open it and reach the emitter but i didnt know whether it is done through bezel ring or you actually have the whole reflector-bezel unit removed
I will post a pic later since postimage.org is acting odd

Thanks again!

The emitter is easily accessible once you remove the SS bezel ring -> lens -> reflector.

I'll grab more pics later.

In this pic:

The emitter is accessed as per my prev. reply; remove the SS Ring then lens then reflector. The surrounding "blackness" you see is actually the head of the light but not obvious since I got in close for this macro.

I am not able to remove the head from the section that houses the mode switch (although they do look like they are two distinct components). It's likely threadlocked.

Hope that helps.

Tim
