Does anyone have experience using NiMh's in the Reactor 3?
Has anyone tried running NiMh's in the Reactor 3 after disabling the tail resistor?
It's easy to temporarily disable the resistor in the tail by taking it off and then jamming a little aluminum foil into the back of the battery barrel. If you do this right, the light will now turn on and off without the tail being connected, and you can now put the tail back on.
Does anyone know what the capacity of the resistor is?
I really like this light. It has a smooth warm beam which is in between a flood and a spot. It's perfect for walking because you don't have to keep moving it around. I will admit that it's also nice to have a spot beam when you are walking, but this light does the best it can with a 1W luxeon.
It fits nicely in a jacket or sweatshirt pocket, and can also fit in pants pocket if your pants aren't too tight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
