Enlightened
This is now SPF thanks
I have been taken by the Olight transformer set. Seems to be a nice chunk of titanium, good output, nice finish, solid build, plenty of extras and the versatility of cr123 or AA power supply...
1 X AA Alkaline battery, Rechargeable Li-ion 14500 with TC15 tube High 125 lumens (70 minutes) ->Strobe 10hz (140 minutes)->-Low 52 lumens (140 minutes)
or: 1 X CR123A , RCR123A if with T10 Titanium battery tube High 235 lumens (110 minutes) ->Strobe 10hz (220 minutes)->-Low 55 lumens (420 minutes)
...so I decided to dunk a set in my anodising what-not!
I'm quite pleased with the result too... this has been anodised into the gold/pink/green and then sanded back at 600 grit and re-anodised blue. It gives a nice finish that I think will carry and wear well...
The price for this set-up - which includes the torch with bodies for two battery options and end caps (so the spare body is a battery carrier) and some other o-ring, carry case and odds'n sods is £79 NOW £69 including PP fees and UK shipping ...as far as I am aware this is only one of these on the planet...
