I need your help. I wonder if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not.

A couple of my lights have (or had) the dreaded green tint. I have noticed after several heat cycles the tint seems to have been reduced.

Is this an allusion? Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I was at a hockey game last night and didn't drink, so I know I'm not sauced.

Is there any record of a tint being "burned" off with use?

Tint sometimes changes with use, especially at high temperatures. Some LEDs "burn in" to a cooler color when overdriven.

If you stare at any beam long enough, it will appear to be white if you have no other beam to reference it to. Yes, it is an illusion most likely. It probably still is green - but your eyes are telling you it is white. Find a true white or neutral beam and compare...
