Surefire UB3T and throw compared with ......

How does the throw of the UB3T compare with the various SST-90 lights? I have a TrustFire X6 which has pretty good throw - and spill. Anyone have any comparisons there?

Also, how do you owners of the UB3T feel about its fit and finish? As good or better than you hoped for? Even though my X6 is classified on CPF as a 'budget light' the anodizing is outstanding. How about the UB3T.

And lastly: how well does the UB3T run on 2 x AW17500s? Runtime, brightness, compared with 3 x 123?

Disclaimer - I KNOW there are threads here on some of these issues (eg., DRB, Selfbuilt) and I HAVE searched them but am looking for some quick answers/views on my points above and figured a new thread might get them quickly for me.

Thanks all.

The luminance of SST90 when driven at 9A is similar to XM-L driven at 3A, thus collimating device (TIR, optics, reflector, etc) of similar size will give similar amount of throw.

UB3T runs with 2x17500, about 70% runtime on high, same brightness.
