Mix-'n-match?

I have a 3-flats E2e, ser.# A08XXX, bought on CPFMP, with a SF 'clicky' tailcap. The body has a witness mark to align it with the tailcap, but the tailcap - being a clicky - has no witness mark. Would this body have come with this tailcap originally, or has the original twisty been swapped for a clicky somewhere down the line? The actual switch inside the tailcap is black.

It works fine, I'm just curious.

I believe a 3-flats e2e should have come with a Z52 (if the flats are truly flat and not rounded).

Thanks, that's what I was starting to suspect.
They are truly flat. It also has the flat (no scallops) bezel, and no 'caution hot surface' label. I'm told it will handle a 17670; I just don't have one to try.
