Surefire E-2 questions?

Where is a good place to order them online where they might be in stock. From what I've read, it's hard to keep them in stock at places due to their popularity. Also, how shockproof are the lamp assemblies and how long do they last? Also other then the fact that it can take a brighter bulb(P61), any reason why I should buy the 6P instead of the E2? I like a bright flashlight but not one that the batteries only last 20 minutes in. Both the 6P (with regular P60 bulb) and E2 are brighter then a mag 3D light which is what I own now, aren't they?
One last question, a good source to buy the Lithium 123 batteries these lights require.

Personally, I think the P61 is justification enough for a larger model than the E2.

I've got the new M2 which I have been unable to damage a lamp module in.

The E2 is pretty tough. I've read that people have dropped theirs without problems. But bulbs do blow, and I get a spare usually when I buy the flashlight, I doubt I'll be needing it any time soon (you'll need it if you don't type thing )

Practically any make of CR123A will do, but I use only Duracell Ultras from SureFire 12B's which is the cheapest way I know of getting them.

The E2 is brighter than a standard 3D MagLight. It is also far better quality which is just as important!

TNR Technical carries SANYO CR123s at a regular price of $3.50, but they have a habit of having sales on ebay. I got 20 of them at $1.80 each, which shipping took to around $2 each. The ebay sale was a Dutch auction, so the lowest winning bid was the price everyone paid.

A couple weeks later, I got 100 Energizer AAs for $40, with shipping.

Both times, the order was handled well and delivered on time. Check around, you'll find other places people like, too.

I have both an E2 and a 6P. They are both top notch lights. The E2 is best for easy carry and it just looks cool.. But the 6P is the workhorse and if I had to have only one I would take the 6P for 2 reasons:
-the high output P61 lamp is just a wonder to have in your pocket for the few times you really need a brilliant light.
-the 6P converts to the 6R, rechargable. It's a little longer, a little dimmer, but gives 45 minutes on a charge. For the times you need a good small light for at least 45 minutes a day for several days, it makes good economic sense.
