The SK3 model would be my choice of the two, but I wonder why they choose the levels they did? The high is what I would expect, but the medium and low levels don't have the run times I would want for a single cell twisty. My choice for a medium setting would have to have a runtime of approx 8 hours, and the low would need to have a brightness of approx 1 to 2 lumens with a runtime of 60+ hours. I do like the appearance and cylindrical shape. Color variants would be nice.

I like the look of the SK7. It's refreshing to see a single mode light these days. Much like a modern version of the Arc AA.

I like the looks of these! For some reason they make me think of the Death Star.

The SK3 would be the one for me. Hopefully it uses the XP-E R3.

Hopefully the SK7 will be better than the competition such as the Fenix E05 and the 4Sevens PO something. Otherwise it will just be another me too one-mode light.

Does it look more like a TIR lense than an aspheric on the SK7 or is that just me?

Love the look of the CR123/16340 model but as mentioned above, 26 hour runtime on low isn't good enough...and a 8 lumen low may not be low enough.

I was browsing online suppliers (hkequipment) and found the Spark SK7.
I've been fooling around with the Fenix E05. I consider it to be the benchmark for comparison:bow::rolleyes:
I've also been fooling around with the Titanium Innovations CA1 IlluminaTi.
The fault with the Ti is the offensively annoying Pulse flicker :thumbsdow and very slightly too narrow of a beam hot-spot for flood.
The PWM flicker is not possible to notice when shining on normal objects and bright reflective surfaces like white painted walls.
. . . . . . . But have a 'shiny ' speck somewhere (such as like a chromed door handle) and Oh! Oh! Oh! I hate that! It reminds me of modern car red LED tail lights ---- It's gone on high setting, thankfully.
I was looking at the 4Sevens Preon 0, but what scared me off it was its ginormous flood --- much much greater than the Fenix E05
What do others think about its capabilities for walking home at night, lighting up the pathway on high setting ???

For the Spark SK7, I'm evaluating any head-to-head comparison to the Fenix E05 which anyone can offer:candle:
Who likes the Spark ? Is its one brightness mode flicker free like the E05 ?
Is the Spark 0.4mm thinner than the E05 and is it 1mm shorter than the E05 ?
I also have the Klarus Mi X6 in SS and in Ti, and the NiteCore T2s coming in the mail any day now.
I wish I caught the Revo wave :banghead::dedhorse:
