If i break my KL1 by trying to disassemble it, is it still covered by their warranty? Can i sent it back to them in pieces and have them replace it? I guess i could say i dropped it and it unscrewed itself and broke into pieces...

it wouldn't be a honest thing to do something like that, but chances are that surefire will warranty it depending on how the damage is, if it is clear that you have drilled a hole through it, or took it apart on purpose, you might get charged for the repair?

this isn't something that most modders will do, if they screw up, they take the loss for it.

Yes, i will most likely take it as a lost, i was just curious to what degree surefire takes it's warranty. Ill probably end up using it as a test base for future projects.

2nd: CPF does not condone nor will harbor any fraudulent warranty ideas or claims. Such actions tarnishes CPF and its many users.
