JETBEAM NEWEST TAILCAP SWITCHES

as we comment in some other thread,,
jetbeam, changed the previous tail-switches, after the the jetbeam 3m r5 and with the begining of the new lines : BA-SERIES and 3m xm-l,
here is the comparison of both switches,
i have both models jet 3m r5 and xml
i prefer the previous tail switch by far...
the newest feels cheaper,fragil,spongy and the one thing , i hate most is,
the xml has longer travel button switch, you press the tail end clickie and until you reach the interior button then it turns on.
while the r5 as soon as you press it, it turns on the light....
please comment about it...

Agreed. I own both as well. I prefer the older version. As you said the xml version does feel cheap and I have had more problems with the internals coming loose while on duty. Something I never experienced with the old version.

Meaning the old one used a Forward clicky and the New one now uses a Reverse Clicky?

while we're at it, the one closer to your Glow Oil is the OLD or the NEW switch/lamp?
