Hey selfbuilt or any other reviewer! Would you mind making a comparison shot of a thrower like the crelant 7g5 v2, thrunite catapault against one of those cheap multiple xml flashlights by those ****fire company or skyray. They even have 7 xml's in alot and 5 is very common. I just want to see if you actually get more light output roughly.

The problem in that comparison is that the brand named lights you mentioned almost always work new out of the box..

Another issue is you are not comparing same style reflectors. The multi emitter lights usually do not throw as far, they output a tremendous amount of light that covers a wide area.
Also the less expensive lights may only be HAII, may not have an anti reflective coating on the lens
The Catapult is a very nice light as is the Crelant.
