Sunwayman T40CS...Overhyped?

I've came close to ordering the T40CS several times now but I was informed that the T40CS is very ringy and that I would not be happy with it once received. This really has me confused because the beam shot pictures look no different than any other light in it's class.

Is the T40CS really that bad? How come it is so popular if the beam is that horrible?

For those who have/seen the T40CS what's your opinion?

I have one and love it but there are a couple of rings in the beam but it does not bother me. The rings are not as noticable to me outside as when being shined at a wall close up. The light is an excellent thrower and has some useable spill. The side switch is great and the anodizing is perfect and makes it a very appealing light to look at as well as use. I only plan on using the light outside. Out of all of the reviews and beam shots none of them have looked horrible so this made me think it looked worse in person.

The T40CS is not overhyped. It is a great light. Also the Surefire FM24 diffuser fits perfect.
