Will there ever be another SF regulated incandescent other than the A2?

I know there was some development on lights like the M2D that may have been discontinued, but something like a regulated E2e would be AMAZING.

Your thoughts, issues?

Thanks Al. I'm wondering if it's completely out of the question, or if it's just on the back burner.

I think it's a moot point with the L4 and coming L5/6.

That has been my fantasy also. I'm afraid it will have to remain as such.

I think it won't be happening at all since the future of illumination seems to be evolving into LEDs due to the major advantages over the incandescent bulb. And with the introduction of the 5 watt led higher wattages aren't far behind as well as more efficient lighting. Seems to be to be a step back for surefire if they do go back to incandescent in my opinion.
