Will AW Protected 123 secondaries damage my stock SureFire heads? My concern is too much voltage for the KX2 with (2) AW Protected 123 and The 80 Lumen version of the Backup with (1) AW Protected 123

I THINK KX4 is rated for all surefire C/Z/P so that would include C3/9P/etc. I don't have one myslef but 2 rcr will be fine if it can handle 3 primaries.

Anything over 3.0v is a risk. If you're going to risk it, you're better of going with the lower voltage LiPo's.

There have been many reports of the E1B head flickering when operating with a fully-charged RCR123.
From what I can tell by reading here, it's one of the least-compatible SF's with regards to LiIon rechargeables.

The Backup does flicker with a fully charged RCR. It woulds fine with the Surefire/K2 LFP cells.
