HDS Rotary Questions

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of ordering an HDS Rotary/120/Hi-CRI/OP Reflector/Black/Black...

1. Does the clip that comes with the light allow for bezel down pocket carry ?
2. Is the clip a deep pocket version of is there part of the light sticking out ? If not,are there other options for this ?
3. I have a couple Novatac 120 clips on hand, will those fit ?
4. Anyone have the raised button ? Any issues or considerations with this type of button outside accidental presses ?
5. Has anyone heard if the shipping delays have been lifted ?

Currently there are no clips for the Rotary at all. There's one in the works, but I haven't seen it.
There's a 6 week back log as far as I know.

The HDS hi cri clickie has a bezel down clip though
And it jus has the tailcap sticking up (not deep carry)

O man.. No Clip? I didn't realize that.. Strike 1,2 and 3. This is disappointing. It is the only way I carry my lights. :-(

I hope one becomes available because I really want an HDS rotary someday.

I would buy the rotary and wait for the clip that may be in the works. With the wait time on new HDS lights, your clip just may arrive before the rotary. But seriously, I would hesitate to buy a lesser light because it simply has a clip. Go with the rotary, carry it any way you can until a clip comes out.

Good advice. But I guess since there are delays for these lights anyway, I have time to wait. When the log jam releases, I will reconsider. And just think of all the interest i'll get on the $200 @ .8%apr ! I'm in the money ....
