considering a zebralight tailcap mod....

So I am trying to come up with a way to make my ZL60w - ZL600 hands free for use at work... I want to do something along the lines of
a spring loaded clap+magnetic base with an attached section of LocLine....18" perhaps...

I was thinking of convoluted ways to grab the light...when I though that perhaps I could drill a hole in the tailcap and use a
10-32 button head from the inside, to screw into the end of a LocLine fitting, so that the light is an inline extension of the
LocLine "snake"...
So I am curious, how much room do you think there is in there with everything screwed together?

Keep the light stock. Machine adapter from delrin with a bore to press fit over the tailcap and on other end attach to LocLine fitting. Cheaper solution is 2" length of rubber hose of adequate dia. Push one end on light and other end on LocLine. Done.
