A while a go I've ordered some neutral XP-G's and AMC7135 drivers from DX and decided to make me a flashlight that should fit in pocket and give some light. The driver is 8x7135 with two chips removed, LED is R4 XP-G, unknown bin, and the battery is a ultrafire 17670, DX clicky and some 6061-T6 1" bar. The idea was to build nasty cheap flashlight wit some punch. Current on tail cap is "only" 1.8A so the LED is "slightly" overdriven.
It's not a state of art, but should serve its purpose.
