Sunwayman M10A with M11R head

I recently bought a Sunwayman M11R and tried its head on my M10A which is a perfect fit. As expected, the output is somewhat reduced (Going from a CR123 to an Eneloop AA). I am considering using a 14500 in this arrangement...

Anything I should be concerned about? Any suggestions or recommendations?

I use 16340 batteries all the time in my M11R. I don't think it would matter unless the discharge rate on the 14500 is too high.
