Led Lenser X21R

Hello guys,

I have been trying to gather as much information on this torch as possible, but thought I would ask the questions here and get direct feedback!

One thing I would like to know is if I can use regular D cell batteries in the X21R instead of the rechargeable pack (for situations when I cannot wait for it to charge).

If anyone owns a Led Lenser X21R please give me your thoughts on it!

I do not own the X21R, but it work with a battery pack consisting of 4 NiMH batteries. The light is likely to be not designed for alkaline cells, but I see no reason for it to not work.

Although for the price of the X21R, you can easily buy a Fenix TK70, and even an Olight X6 which can put our 5000lumens.

Hi Hilz,
My head is melted with trying to find this out. I rang two different agents and both gave me two different answers. I then rang one of the agents twice and spoke to different sales people also, I again got two different stories.
