I have followed the discussion of several posts about the benefits of LSD batteries.
The following test shows that Tenergy Premium and the Tenergy Centura (copied from another forum thread and is the original work of FNSOONER) still have good power after 3 months. It seems to show that the Premium is stronger after 3months on the shelf.

My questions are: Would the Tenergy Premium be a better/stronger batter to use if you assume that it will be recharged every 3-4 months?
How many months would it be before the Tenergy Premium has less over all power than the Centura?

thank you!!@

(The following is from Fnsooner:)
Well, it has been three months. Time to pull four of the test sujects off the shelf and do a little LSD testing.

I discharged them on my Accucell 8150 with 10 guage leads and magnets at 1A rate to .9VDC. When I finished testing the cells, I charged them on my Maha C808M on the default settings and then did another discharge test to check their capacity after charging. I also put the percentage of charge left compared to fully charged cell.

TP = Tenergy Premium 10000mAh non-LSD purchased 08/2011
OS = Old style AccuEvolutions 10000mAh purchased 01/2010
NS = New style AccuEvolutions 10000mAh purchased 07/2010
TC = Tenergy Centura LSD 8000mAh purchased 11/2011

dano,
Thank you, I saw that Batteries are included in Electronics after I posted my question.
I thought I had looked at all the headings on the forum but must have only read the initial heading.

Alas, this is but one reason my title is "unenlightened". I have no power to move my post and I would no doubt be scolded if I made a double post, so I must trust in the mercy of some good person to provide some guidance to me concerning the longe term ability of the 2 batteries in question.

Thank you
