Will this work?

I was looking over the Lumens Factory web site just to check for anything new and exciting. I saw that they are now offering just the tubes for the Seraph 6 & 9 so you can 'roll your own' flashlight. I'm also really attracted to their several different M turbo heads. I was thinking of getting a Seraph 9 body, the C to M adaptor, and one of the M Turbo heads to make a nice little 1000 lumen light. Do you think this would work, and what kind of run time do you think it would have? I'm not interested in rechargeables (at least not right now) so would be using primary cells. I don't have a need for anything this powerful, I just want to play ! :thumbsup:

Expect .5 hours for every 18650 cell or .167 hours for every CR123 cell.

With 3 CR123 cells I would expect 30-45 minutes of runtime at best.

2 18650s recommended would get about 2 hours of runtime.

OK, I've decided to do this. Now I have to decide whether to get the SSC P7 Turbo head, or the XM-L one. Any opinions out there?

I prefer Cree LED's solely from a design standpoint. The XM-L is a very impressive diode.
