Would someone Please reply with the dimensions of the Pelican M6. I can't find the spec I'm looking for. I have found that it is 5.5 x 1.25. Is the 1.25 the diameter at the head? If so what's the diameter of the rest of the body? Thanks so much. I'm very new to this board and going to start my collection. Thanks.

Yep, 1.25" is the head diameter. The body is 1".

FWIW, I'd say the PM6 is one of the nice to lights to start off your addiction, errr.. collection.

The body diameter is 1". The head diameter is 1.25" It is only 5.5" long when you have both the head and the tailcap screwed off just enough to barely cover both O-rings. In actual usage it will be a bit shorter.

Welcome to CPF. jkobe !

Here is a link to Atomic 6's html version of Brightnorm's Flashlight Specifications for 48 lights:

Brightnorm's Instant Specs for 48 Lights

It's handy for quick reference.

jkobe,

There is an error in that HTML version of my instant specs.
Weight of the PM6 is 5.8oz NOT 8oz! Here is the original version:

INSTANT SPECS FOR 48 POPULAR LIGHTS

I will ask Atomic 6 to correct it.

You can make it a BIT shorter still by taking about half the spring behind the light module off.

Pelican M6 is a lot bigger than a SF e2e. I wish it was smaller in dimension. Check out the Streamlight TL2. Is cheaper and brighter than the SF e2e.
