Is it worth the time, effort and shipping cost to warranty a Surefire P60L Lamp Assy?

I have a Surefire G2L-FYL and the P60L Led assy. is very dim. I have already got the RMA # but figure it will cost 12 or so bucks to ship it to them. They will pay return shipping. Is it worth it or just put that $12 toward another Malkoff M61LL?

I don't think the Surefire G2L-FYL will accept an aftermarket P60 assembly because the OEM is glued/sealed in place. I could be wrong. Check yours to see if it will come apart.

Yes it is worth it. I ship small items like LA's and other small SF parts relatively often and the small packages cost me $2 to $2.50 each via USPS first class mail.

They want the whole light this time tracked etc. That's why I said $12.

Small Flat Rate Box with Delivery Confirmation? Should be around $6-$7.

Then again, if they are asking for the whole light, they might replace it with the newer version which will not accept the Malkoff drop in.
