Wonder if anyone could help me.

I have one of these headlamps and it has a burnt component on the controller PCB.

I have not had any luck in identifying it (U3) maybe someone could help?
Markings that are visible are:
the two last characters are "0A", one in the middle could be an H or an R and the first could be a 3 or a 7 ?

Here's a couple pf photos:

The light has three Luxeon led's and it operates on 4,8V.
The wide connector on PCB connects to a power/brightness selector.

Appreciate any help.

I wish I knew enough about electronics to help, but I don't. I do have a few suggestions, though. Tell us about how the leds are wired (parallel/serial). Tell us how the levels and power on/off are selected. Last, I might suggest you re-post in (or ask a mod to move to) the electronics/batteries sub-forum, as there seem to be lots more electrically interested folks there.

Looks like a transistor to me. Are there two traces on one side and only on on the other?
