Hi all!

I've been working on a little side project but have run into a brick wall. I wanted my optics to be 10mm in diameter but throw a super narrow beam (somewhere in the 5 degree range). I found the Lisa2-clip 16-xpg on cutters but the beam is still a bit large ( http://www.ledil.fi/datasheets/DataSheet_Lisa2-Clip16-XP-G.pdf). Anyone have any suggestions on a lens? Any input or help would be great!

100 is kinda small for a throwy beam. To get a narrow beam with that small of a lens, you'll need something with a small emitting area (XML has a larger emitting area then a XP-E). The XR-C could work better for you. You'll get less output due to the smaller die though.

Or you can get a red, green, and blue laser (true blue, not purple), and try to combine the beams into a white laser (anyone know if this is possible in a small size?). :p
