The bulb fits fine but spring is too short to reliably contact battery . Before I take a pair of pliers and stretch it out a wee bit . Any ideas ? Thanks

When I bought my MD10 for my M3 light there was also a spacer ring provided for ifferent body / head configurations. Maybe this ring is missing?
