hi all!

I am asking on behalf of a friend that has a Tk11 and is considering using the newer 18650 batteries.

the question is how long can the flashlight accept?

Candidates are the
XTAR 3100
XTAR 2600
Int-outdoor 3100
Trustfire 3000
Solarforce 2400 (white-blue)

Anyone has experience with these aprticluar batteries?
(The XTAR 3100 being the longest of them all means that the flashlight will accept any other)

many thanks, kostas

I have the R2 version, it does take the Eagletec 18650 3100mAh. Also have unbranded Panasonic protected 18650 3100mAh, and those it won't eat.

My Tk11 was fine with the grey and very cheap chinese 18650 ultrafires. Dont think I had any duff ones, also the green and much pricier Panasonics are excellent. I use my flashlight all day and every day. The TK15 r2 in my opinion is the ultimate single 18650 and is prob at the limit of usefullness of runtime and performance as the TK 21 soon lost max power and went down a level. Dont buy the TK11, get the TK15 r2 direct from ebay chinese sellers who are open to best offers

Considering the warranty service you d better buy the flashlight from the local dealer.
