I have a Fenix L1D, and want to try boring out a spare body for an AW protected 17500. Will either an L1S, L1T, or L1P body work? Getting one of those would be cheaper than getting a complete L1D body&tailcap assembly. I assume that the electronics is all in the bezel. Are all of the threads on all of these models the same, and are all of the threaded areas the same length? Thank you for your input!
