what does this crazy disclaimer mean??

i'm interested in both Jetbeam and Niteye lights. I googled jetbeam and when you click on the site jet-beam.com you get this message from Google:

Earnest declarations: SYSMAX Ind.(the sole owner of NITECORE & JETBEAM) and Niteye are NOT the same enterprise. As a famous flashlights manufactory and a member of PLATO, we SYSMAX feel shame about the counterfeit of SPY007 and the copied design of selector ring. At the same time, we strongly condemned the plagiarism from Niteye.

Is Niteye a decent company or just a cheap knock off brand? I've never seen a disclaimer like that come through before you even get on the site. Sounds like there's some story behind this

ok - i'm replying to my own post. the post just after mine mentions the same issue. Seems as though niteye did make a blatant copy of the SPY007. Hmm.
