I was told the maratac aa diffuser should stretch to fit the .86" wide quark aa head. Does anyone have one they could test to verify and/or post a pic? It would be greatly appreciated.
The Fenix diffuser for PD and LD heads work for my AA2 after sanding off the small ribs in the inside of the diffuser. Easy to do. I learned this from someone here.
The bulb type is the one I'm refering to. It works great.
Do you mean the wand style? I actually have a wand from fenix that works with my quark, but I don't like it. I want something smaller. Plus if the maratac diffuser does fit their $5 kit comes with a red and white which I need both of. Was there another fenix that is more of a small bulb? I only see this one, but with no red option...
Here's my diffuser/lantern/90-degree reflector for my Quark. I use it camping all the time and it has completely displace my Black Diamond Apollo. Course it's only good for stationary use tail standing, or clipped to something.
