It's running at 7Amp start with fresh eneloop AA.
It will go up to 8.35A over time as the Vf will drop with high amp use, so it'll get even brighter over time.
Due to all the high end components used, cost is very high,
thank god it's just a hobby not a business . Here is the cost run down if you try to build one your self, the cost includes shipping to get the parts in US:
