Boeing vs Airbus Flame War!

This forum lacks a proper.. Boeing vs Airbus flame war! :rant:

Guess most of you guys are americans, right? So, I'll risk taking a lot of flak claiming that Airbus planes are probably quite good.

So, got some high flying arguments pro/con Boeing or Airbus?
What about the Dreamliner and the delamination problems?
Or the A380 with its wing cracks?

Fire away! :touche:

..but not too much, I'm flying to Crete on friday on an Airbus A321 and I'd like to avoid 3-4 hours of excessive hand perspiration (I'm moderatly nervous about flying) :sweat:

none of this matters

all airplanes are only going to be as safe as regulations regarding inspections dictate

all these problems you bring up caused zero incidents, it is all found in normal inspections

there is no issue here. things will get fixed and airlines will buy and trade aircraft as usual

and...mistakes and failures and 'unpredictable events' will also occur as usual

Perhaps it's easier getting into heated discussion about surefire vs led lenser or similar

(then again flashoholics are generally mild-tempered and nice people!)

CPF underground is the appropriate forum for trying to incite a flame war

flame wars on CPF proper are a good way to get banned

Don't worry, it's not a Draken, and you seem to have dialed in a week or two of full-body perspiration anyhow.
