So last night I modded my mcgizmo pd and put in an xpg2. Ended up working well enough but There some stuff I need to get better at before I trust it. Where can I buy the little disc the led board sits on to make contact with the heatsink? I ende up reusing the old one which got a little beat up in the process of removing it.
Any tips to get better at soldering? I did well enough but compared to you guys it looks like crap... Maybe put te pieces I'm working on in a clamp? What do you guys use to coat the contacts on the led to prevent the reflector from shorting them out?
