Those look like upgrades for the E-series tail caps! Awesome!

A grip ring would have either no threads at all or two threads (like the E2M / E2C adapters). I´m with S1LVA, shrouds. Nice to see two slots for tritium vials in the brass one on the right

Some very good guesses, you guys are sharp. Its the first part of a custom E light:

The first units have already shipped, with more due later in the month.

Sorry, no trit slots. Thats more of a trick of the lighting.

Hey EG!

Do these have the same design specs as the 4.00 version of the Moddoolar heads?

Yes, identical v4 engines, with the exception that they are LMH only. They lack the mass to support full time High mode.

Ah, ok, that explains the LMH only option available. That's cool, since I'm planning to use it on Low & Med most of the time :)

E-mails probably take longer to get to Australia, lol. ;)

Haha! It's probably being held up in e-customs because the term "strike bezel" was used, which sounded too weapon-y and freaked them out :D

I'm probably going to get lynched for saying this, but I'm not a big fan of tail shrouds. Are there plans on releasing one with a less prominent tail caps, or has this been added for safety or as an inherent part of the design?
