    Default Mokuti 18650 Flashlight

Mokuti is a mixture of two Titanium alloys--CP and 6AL4V. When anodized, they yield two colors as seen here.

As you can see, the colors can vary, depending on the light source, or the viewing angle.

    That is obnoxious.

The detailing on the head is brilliant.

    Now onto the Zen?

Yes, indeed--I'll be doing some cutting on your light today. Just received some new tools to allow me to do the work.

That is a custom light, so I won't be offering these for sale.

I am making a few lights out of Mokuti, but the material is very expensive, and, therefore, so are the lights.

WOW - love Ti Ano, the different angles on the head will do a great job changing the color. Photos of Ti ano never seem to do it justice.

Where on earth are you finding Damascus Titanium?? I heard that stuff was nearly impossible to make, due to having to be forged in an oxygen-free atmosphere.

I get my material from Chad Nichols, who is the only one making Mokuti, although I believe that the makers of Timascus, a similar product, are still producing material for knife makers. The joy of working with Chad is that he can make rounds, instead of just slabs.

Final pic showing the relative size of the Mokuti 18650 Light--it's 6" long, one of the largest lights that I've made.

You've been better off being off the planet recently, to be honest.

But of course! I didn't pay attention to the posting dates. Congratulations - that "scallop" pattern is wicked.
