Have any of you tried to mix some arctic silver grease into arctic alumina epoxy in order to be able to possibly remove the emitter from the sink later?

How much grease should I put in the epoxy?

A good mix that was used early on was introduced by Lambda and that was 50% regular epoxy and 50% AA or AS. This makes a semi-permanent Epoxy which can be removed without too much trouble but still provide reasonable thermal transfer.

When you mix 50/50, is that regular epoxy like real epoxy, or ArticAlumina epoxy?

I'm guessing regular just means regular epoxy, now that I think back I remember people using this. While this may be more of a hassle, I do need to be able to remove 3 diodes later on from a project I will be doing, so I'm going to be using this method. Plus I'm sure in the future I'll want to swap out emiters for the latest and greatest effiecient improved leds...
