This morning at 4:20 am I as awakened by the sound of a large truck with loud hydraulic lifts and other mechanicals making a big racket. I look out the window and it's my yard waste disposal pick up #@&^%$$#'s that have decided that it's a good time to make their rounds so they can hit the links at a decent hour. Soooooooo, I go to the front door in my underwear, grab my dual beam Vector 3 mil candle power spotlight and shine it on them down one house down the street, much to their surprise night becomes day and the guy yells out, while being caught in the act, "hey, what are you doing?", I reply,"hey, you just woke me up you ^%^$#$". I am so glad that I had my Vector, it was sooooooo appropriate to use in that situation, and it seemed so natural for me to reach for it. And to think, I never thought I would have a legitimate use for it.

Re: I suprised them with my Vector 3mil cp spotli

Cool. Had a similar experience last night with my [wimpy] 500,000 cp] rechargable from Bass Pro Shop.

So there I was /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif handing out goodies to the little witches and goblins etc. and a couple of older kids started a bit of commotion on the corner.

Most of the trick or treaters last night were in the 4 to 12 age range, many with parents escorting them. The commotion on the corner involved some mid to upper bracket teenagers. There were a couple of kids and parents on my sidewalk and some across the street.

As this is between streetlights the area was dim, UNTIL I asked one of the parents in front of me to step aside for a moment whereupon I pulled the trigger on the light and /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/poke2.gif illuminated them in the act of tusseling.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif It was totally amazing, everything stopped like a freeze action photo, the two that were trouncing the third stopped and turned around totally blinded and like IDIOTS stood there staring at the light... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif go figure.

Somebody barked out a statement along the lines of "look, I'd really like to just be a parent spending time with my kid trick or treating tonight, but I'm not above putting on my badge to haul you in..." at which point they all slunk off in different directions and the world became a happier place again... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hmmm... several parents /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif clapped and voiced some appreciative comments. Wow, and this from a wimpy .5MCP, guess I could have really fried /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twakfl.gif some eyes with the bigger model. Perhaps next time.

Hmmmm... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif could this be a reason why I'm called...

at 25 yards, I put a serious amount of light on them and their truck, they were totally shocked that I put such a light on them ,but since it was the worst thing I thought I could get away with, I didn't really care what they thought. It was far better than putting on them , what I had next to my spotlight, mainly a 357 combat magnum, smith and wesson revolver with soft nose hollow point bullets.
